Conference in Cape Town: Building Democratic Resilience and Economic Transformation in Africa

The Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance at the University of Cape Town (UCT) recently hosted a multi-day conference titled “Building Democratic Resilience and Economic Transformation in Africa.” The first day, organised by cross-hub fellows, highlighted their research, with a particular focus on land reform and agricultural development. The School is one of four research hubs linked to the Global Forum for Democracy Development initiative.

The conference emphasised a commitment to establishing an African hub within a global network dedicated to democracy and development.
